Nathan Perkins

Managing Director

As a managing director with FMI Capital Advisors, Nathan Perkins is an expert in employee stock ownership plans (ESOPs). He regularly speaks to industry groups about the value of these transactions for employees and as a liquidity strategy for business owners. He has advised on more than 300 ESOP M&A deals representing billions in value during his more than 20-year career.

Prior to joining FMI in 2022, Nathan was a managing director at CSG Partners where he focused on ESOP strategies for middle market companies. Nathan began his career as a financial advisor with Morgan Stanley in Washington, DC, and held a similar position at Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Over the course of his career, Nathan has focused on relationship management, financial and estate planning, commercial banking, securities-based lending, 1042 rollovers, and ESOP transaction advisory services. This multidisciplinary background affords Nathan a unique perspective on the financial and legacy-related needs of private and family-business owners about liquidity transactions.
