Senior Consultant

Jim is a senior consultant in FMI’s strategy practice and advises clients across the built environment. He provides FMI’s clients with insightful and data-driven analysis to support a broad range of contractors, engineers and building product manufacturers.

Prior to joining FMI, Jim led consulting engagements supporting electric and gas utilities on a variety of complex challenges. Most recently, he helped multiple utilities develop strategies to prepare for the adoption of electric vehicles. He also helped develop plans for a utility to add solar energy to its generation portfolio.

Jim began his career as an aviator in the United States Navy. He completed three deployments in support of Operation Enduring Freedom and subsequently served as a flight instructor. He has also been a featured speaker at industry conferences and serves on several community and nonprofit boards.
