Kyle Yu

Kyle Yu is a consultant in FMI’s strategy practice serving construction, engineering and energy companies across the U.S and providing advisory services to private equity clients involved in acquisitions within the built environment. Kyle brings hands-on experience in chemical engineering and process optimization, as well as advising private equity clients across sectors such as industrial products, energy and enterprise software. He bridges the gap between strategic plans developed in the boardroom and operational realities executed in the field. He has led the analysis for several high-profile acquisitions, helping clients identify growth opportunities and operational efficiencies that drive value creation.

Prior to FMI, Kyle was a senior-level consultant in the deals strategy practice at Strategy&, where he advised large industrial companies and private equity firms on M&A and integration activities. He led in-depth due diligence processes, driving alignment and accelerating value creation for acquisition targets. Kyle began his career as an instrumentation and controls engineer at Honeywell, where he traveled globally to optimize processes at refineries.
