Associate

Osman Syed is an associate with FMI Capital Advisors, the investment banking subsidiary of FMI Corporation. He is responsible for company valuation, financial analysis, market and industry research, prospective buyer research and overall support for FMI’s investment banking team across the energy and industrial services space.

Before transitioning to investment banking, Osman held multiple positions within the controls and automation industry. He worked at companies such as Hargrove Controls & Automation, Maverick Technologies and Honeywell, serving clients predominantly in the petrochemical sector. His roles encompassed project management, business development, technical delivery and leadership.
