Phil Bellis

Phil Bellis is a consultant in FMI's strategy practice. He works with clients to identify strategic opportunities within the built environment that align with their core competencies. His data-driven insights enable revenue growth and improved operating efficiency.

Before joining FMI, Phil was a structural engineer in New York, working on high-profile commercial, residential, mixed-use and entertainment projects. He spent time in the office and in the field, informing a holistic understanding of the engineering and construction industry.

Throughout his career, Phil has also been an active member in professional organizations. He held the position of co-editor-in-chief of SEAoNY Cross Sections and has written articles about parametric optimization published in Structure Magazine and Modern Steel Construction.
