FMI Advises Glenn O. Hawbaker in Acquisition of HRI

FMI Capital Advisors is pleased to announce that Glenn O. Hawbaker, Inc. (GOH) has acquired HRI, Inc, a subsidiary of Colas USA. FMI Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to GOH for this transaction.

Founded in 1952, GOH is a leading heavy and highway contractor serving both private and public sector customers across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, Maryland and southern New York. The company operates 19 aggregate facilities and seven asphalt production plants and provides a wide range of services including site work, utilities, concrete work, bridge structures and asphalt paving.

Through the acquisition of HRI, GOH significantly expands its infrastructure capabilities and regional presence. HRI is a diversified construction company with expertise in highways, airports, bridges, water and wastewater treatment facilities, asphalt paving and site development. The company runs six hot-mix asphalt plants that support its paving and construction operations. HRI’s established operations and experienced workforce further enhance GOH’s ability to serve public and private customers across Pennsylvania and surrounding markets.
