FMI Announces Sale of Stueve Construction to Sound Growth Partners

FMI Capital Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of Stueve Construction LLC (Stueve), a portfolio company of Stone Arch Capital, to Sound Growth Partners (SGP). FMI Capital Advisors served as the exclusive sell-side financial advisor to Stueve for this transaction.

Founded in 1958 and headquartered in Algona, Iowa, Stueve is the leading provider of engineering, design and construction services for bulk fertilizer storage facilities in the U.S. For decades, the company has been a pioneer in the design of large-scale fertilizer storage facilities.

“Stueve’s 65-year track record of success and unmatched expertise make it an exceptional leader in the agricultural infrastructure space,” said Travis Steele, Partner at SGP. “We are excited to partner with the team at Stueve as they write the company’s next chapter of growth and innovation.”

Reynold Franklin, CEO at Stueve, added “Navigating the complexities of the transaction required deep market insight and a tailored approach. FMI’s expertise allowed us to confidently pursue multiple liquidity options, ensuring the best possible outcome for all stakeholders. Ultimately, the transaction aligned perfectly with our long-term goals, thanks to FMI’s thoughtful and informed guidance.”
