Investment Banking Firm Advises Specialty Chemical Company on M&A Transaction
FMI Capital Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of Baze Chemical (Baze) to Verdant Specialty Solutions (Verdant), a global specialty chemical company. Based in Odessa, Texas, Baze is an ethoxylate specialty chemical company that serves customers in the oil & gas production, water treatment and mining industries. FMI Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Baze for this transaction, which closed on October 1, 2021.
The acquisition expands Verdant’s manufacturing footprint in the U.S. and positions the company as a long-term partner for specialty ethoxylation on the Gulf Coast. Through the acquisition, Verdant enhances its portfolio, by now offering more than 375 surfactants and specialty solutions.
