FMI Capital Advisors Announces Sale of the Brandt Companies to Southland Industries
M&A Transaction Expands Nationwide Footprint and Service Capabilities
FMI Capital Advisors is pleased to announce the sale of the Brandt Companies, LLC (Brandt) to Southland Industries, a mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) services firm. FMI Capital Advisors served as the exclusive financial advisor to Brandt for this transaction.
Brandt is the largest MEP contractor in the state of Texas. Headquartered in Dallas, with additional offices in Fort Worth, Houston, Waco, Austin and San Antonio, Brandt provides in-house services including build/design, construction and commissioning.
The acquisition brings together a team of more than 5,000 individuals across 35 states, with full-lifecycle expertise from engineering through fabrication and installation, to post-construction services including operations, maintenance and energy services.
