Ashley Matthews

Ashley Matthews serves as FMI’s Controller and brings more than 14 years of experience in the accounting profession to her role. Ashley oversees FMI’s accounting team and works with internal stakeholders across the company to provide timely and accurate financial reporting including preparing financial statements, budgets, budget-to- actuals and financial projections.

Ashley began her career in public accounting at Grant Thornton in the assurance practice performing financial statement audits for public and private companies. After Grant Thornton, she worked at the American Institute for Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) managing the accounting and assurance product portfolio. Most recently she worked at a Raleigh tax firm preparing corporate and personal returns.
