Ben Morrison
Chief Financial Officer
As chief financial officer, Ben Morrison oversees the firm’s financial strategy, accounting and reporting, capital planning and corporate development activities. As a member of FMI’s executive leadership team, he partners closely with the CEO and board of directors to support the firm’s strategic growth initiatives, long-term value creation and operational excellence.
Ben brings extensive experience in finance, mergers and acquisitions, strategy and operations across private equity–sponsored and advisory environments. Prior to joining FMI, he served as CFO and head of corporate development for Pearl Meyer, an executive compensation and leadership consulting firm. In that role, he led all aspects of finance and accounting, oversaw enterprise systems implementations, guided multiple acquisitions and divestitures, and supported senior leadership and the board through complex strategic and operational initiatives.
Earlier in his career, Ben held CFO roles in other private equity–backed businesses and worked in transaction advisory and investment roles, including positions at Main Street Capital and KPMG’s Transaction Advisory Group. In these roles, he has advised on buy-side and sell-side transactions, supported boards and executive teams, and helped organizations navigate periods of growth, transformation and ownership change.
