Denise Proctor

CFO and COO

As a member of the firm’s executive leadership team, Denise Proctor oversees FMI’s accounting, administration, talent acquisition, marketing and information technology groups. As chief operating officer, she coordinates and oversees improvements to FMI’s internal operating systems and corporate processes, positioning the firm to take advantage of market opportunities. As chief financial officer, Denise is responsible for all financial aspects of the firm as well as the human resource, marketing, legal and administrative areas. 

She is an integral part of setting the firm’s strategic direction, working with the executive leadership team and the board of directors to ensure FMI is best positioned in the market to help clients and continue to build its reputation for providing excellent services to those in the built environment. 

Denise joined FMI in December 1984 as an accounts receivable accountant and has held progressive positions within the company, including accounting manager and controller. She is a member of the executive committee, serving as the corporate secretary and treasurer of the FMI board of directors. In addition, Denise is a board member for FMI Infrastructure Consultants, the firm’s Canadian entity.
