Senior Director

Emily Cannon is a senior director with FMI Corporation and serves as the sub practice lead for FMI’s Training Institute. In this role, she leads the firm’s leadership and performance development offerings across the Training Institute portfolio, working with construction and built environment organizations to develop leaders, strengthen teams and drive long-term business performance.

Emily partners with clients to deliver high-impact programs that build critical leadership, financial and operational capabilities. She works across organizations to help companies navigate growth, develop future leaders and create alignment from the field to executive leadership. She brings a strong understanding of industry challenges and translates them into practical, actionable learning experiences.

Emily is responsible for the strategy and continued evolution of FMI’s Training Institute offerings, ensuring they remain relevant, impactful and aligned with market needs. She collaborates closely with FMI consultants, facilitators and industry partners to enhance the client experience and expand the firm’s reach.

She is passionate about developing people and helping organizations build strong leadership pipelines that support long-term success.
