Jeremy Wensuc

Jeremy Wensuc is an IT security analyst at FMI, delivering proactive security operations that safeguard client environments through continuous monitoring, threat detection and rapid incident response. He strengthens organizational resilience by overseeing identity and access controls, leading vulnerability management and patch coordination efforts, advancing email and endpoint security, refining SIEM detection capabilities, and developing automation-driven improvements that enhance visibility, efficiency and risk reduction.

Prior to joining FMI, Jeremy served as a aecurity analyst at EchoStar Corporation in Littleton, Colorado, where he monitored, detected and conducted incident response operations across complex environments using SIEM platforms, including Splunk and XSIAM. He conducted advanced malware analysis, forensic investigations and root cause assessments while supporting the deployment and optimization of endpoint protection solutions, firewalls, IDS/IPS and encryption technologies to reinforce layered defenses. Jeremy also directed patch management initiatives to ensure timely remediation of vulnerabilities and actively contributed to security audits, tabletop exercises and red team/blue team simulations to continuously strengthen the organization’s overall security posture.
