Jie Garner
Analyst
As an analyst on the private equity consulting services team within FMI’s strategy practice, Jie supports private equity clients by conducting market research and delivering commercial due diligence to inform investment decisions in the built environment. In this role, he contributes to strategic assessments across a range of sectors, helping clients identify risks, evaluate growth opportunities and shape post-acquisition value creation plans.
Jie brings a blend of analytical, financial and consulting experience to the role. Previously, he held internships in project management at Fluor Corporation and in finance at Milliken & Company. Additionally, through Clemson University’s Consulting Academic Pilot Program, he contributed to two real-world strategy engagements: a four-month growth strategy project for a $10 million regional lumber company and a nine-month go-to-market strategy engagement with a $4 billion health care client. Both projects involved extensive market research, including international travel to conduct in-person interviews.
