John Cunningham

Chief Operating Officer

John Cunningham serves as the Chief Operating Officer at FMI Corporation, where he is responsible for driving operational performance and scaling the firm’s capabilities.

John brings more than 20 years of experience leading operations, strategy and transformation initiatives in complex, high-growth environments. At EY, he led global operations for a $1B+ Digital Engineering practice, building operating models, go-to-market strategies and performance frameworks that delivered double-digit growth. His experience includes advising on large-scale transformations, M&A and integration and forming strategic partnerships, along with hands-on entrepreneurial experience.

John is widely recognized as a results-driven leader and change agent, earning honors including the EY Excellence Award and being named a Top COO by the OnCon Icon Awards. He is also a mentor to emerging entrepreneurs through the University of Virginia’s iLab program.
