Josh Borkovec

As a leadership consultant in FMI's Leadership and Organizational Development practice, Josh partners with organizations across the built environment to strengthen leadership at every level. He designs and facilitates leadership development programs, custom learning cohorts and leadership workshops, coaches individual leaders through real business challenges, and helps organizations build leadership systems that support long-term growth.

Before joining FMI, Josh spent more than a decade at one of the nation's largest building materials distributors. During his tenure, he served as director of organizational development and learning, developing enterprise-wide leadership programs for leaders at every level, designing Manager-in-Training and Sales-in-Training programs, coaching leaders across the organization, and leading change management and culture integration initiatives supporting newly acquired businesses. Having built leadership systems from within a large organization, Josh brings firsthand experience helping leaders navigate growth, change, and organizational complexity.

Drawing on extensive experience within the construction industry, Josh helps leaders translate leadership principles into practical behaviors that strengthen individuals, teams, and organizations. His work is grounded in the realities of running a business and focused on helping leaders build the confidence and capability to lead themselves, their teams and their organizations.
