Scott Winstead

As president of FMI Consulting, Scott oversees all aspects of the group’s strategy, growth and day-to-day operations. As a member of FMI’s board of directors, he collaborates with his fellow directors to help shape the firm’s strategic priorities on behalf of its shareholder partners.

In addition to leading the consulting business, Scott actively works with clients on their most critical strategic and operational priorities. Known across the industry for his ability to translate trends into opportunities, Scott consistently helps clients get positioned for success.

Beyond his work at FMI, Scott has a long history of contributing to the industry through various leadership roles over the years. He served on the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America Executive Board; the YPO Construction Industry Network Executive Board, most recently as Global Network Chair; and the Retail Contractors Association Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Construction Management School Advisory Board at his alma mater East Carolina University.
