Scott Winstead

As president of FMI Consulting, Scott oversees all aspects of the group’s strategy, growth and day-to-day operations. As a member of FMI’s Board of Directors, Scott works with his fellow directors to help shape the firm’s strategic priorities on behalf of the firm’s shareholder partners.

In addition to leading the Consulting business, Scott works with clients on strategy, governance, succession and operational priorities. He is known across the industry for his ability to spot relevant trends and translate the impact and related opportunity to clients to help them position for success.

Outside of FMI, Scott has been active in giving back to the industry in various leadership roles over the years. He served on the Associated General Contractors (AGC) of America Executive Board; the YPO Construction Industry Network Executive Board, most recently as Global Network Chair; and the Retail Contractors Association Advisory Board. He is also a member of the Construction Management School Advisory Board at his alma mater East Carolina University.
