Yatra Karki

Analyst

Yatra is an analyst in FMI’s consulting practice, where she supports strategy engagements through data analysis, market research and the development of client deliverables. Her work focuses on translating quantitative research and policy insights into actionable strategies that support long-term decision making for clients.

Prior to joining FMI, Yatra gained experience in environmental policy analysis, data-driven research and stakeholder engagement related to energy, infrastructure and sustainability. She worked as a legal assistant supporting research and documentation across multiple practice areas, and as a research assistant at the University of Virginia analyzing environmental and equity impacts of urban forestry projects. She also served as an intern with the Environmental Defense Fund, where she conducted policy and data analysis related to coastal resilience, flood disclosure legislation and environmental regulation.
